I'm Not an Expert. I'm Just Like You.

Hi, I'm Jason, the person behind Steps with Jesus.

If you're looking for a formal expert or a scholar who has life perfectly figured out, that's not me. I’m a normal guy from England, and the truth is, I'm on this journey right alongside you.

I was raised Christian—I sang the hymns and said the prayers—but I got a bit wayward in my late teens and did some stupid stuff. Life settled down when I got married and had kids, and that's when I truly returned to Christ.

I still do wrong things. I still wrestle with my faith (like sorting out church and baptism). And that’s the point: We are all broken. Coming to Christ doesn’t make you above anyone; you will still have problems and worries. But you will have Jesus and eternal life, and that is what every human should strive for.

This site is built on the belief that every question is worth asking, and you are free to explore and take your time.

Why I Built This Site
(The Urgency of the Mission)

I look at the world today and see how messed up it is—and frankly, I feel a deep urgency to share the truth.

My desire is to shine a light through Jesus, because our time is not guaranteed, and the need to know Him is immediate. We are living in a broken world, and the most important decision you will ever make is to find Jesus.

My mission is simple: If just one person accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior and gets saved, this entire ministry will be successful.

I built these resources to be your clear, non-judgmental guide, helping you find a firm foundation and a life-changing relationship with Jesus right now.
