The Final Triumph:
Peace and Justice
Revelation 22:3-5
No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and His servants will serve Him. They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God 1 will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
Daily Steps
As we move toward the very end of the series, this passage provides the final, glorious picture of eternal reality, synthesizing all the promises of the year into one vision of ultimate peace and righteousness. It assures the new believer of The Final Triumph.
The peace in this certainty is found in eternal reality:
The Removal of the Curse: The ultimate source of all disorder and suffering (Day 194) is removed: "No longer will there be any curse." This is the final, complete undoing of sin's influence, securing permanent tranquility (The New Home, Day 212).
The Intimacy of Presence: The central focus of eternity is perfect, unhindered relationship: "They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads." This is the ultimate fulfillment of the promise of peace with God (Day 174)—unmediated fellowship with the one true God (The God of Peace, Day 222).

Heavenly Father, I praise You for the glorious, final vision of the New Heavens and New Earth. I thank You that no longer will there be any curse and that I will see Your face.
I pray for the faith to live in light of this Final Triumph. Secure my final peace today in the truth that I will reign for ever and ever in the perfect light of Your presence. Amen.
