Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

The Guaranteed Reward: This perspective is supported by a powerful promise: you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Knowing that your faithful work has an eternal reward (The Crown of Righteousness, Day 224) secures deep, lasting peace and motivation that transcends any daily frustration.

Heavenly Father, I confess my temptation to work carelessly when others are not watching. I pray for the wisdom and integrity to approach every task with all my heart, as working for the Lord.
Thank You for the promise of an inheritance as my reward. Secure my peace today in the knowledge that it is the Lord Christ I am serving through all my efforts. Amen.
