The command to be a living sacrifice (Day 349) directly addresses the necessity of integrating belief (faith) with behavior (action). This challenging verse provides a vital conclusion to our study, clarifying that true, saving faith (Day 254) is never passive. If our belief does not produce visible works of service (Day 326), love (Day 348), and good deeds (Day 331), it is revealed to be a mere intellectual assent—a "dead" and useless belief.

The Nature of Dead Faith: Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
