The Bible does not contain an explicit word or command directly addressing the act of masturbation. However, the ethical evaluation for a Christian rests on the biblical mandate for sexual purity, self-control, and the avoidance of lust. Masturbation is generally considered sinful if it is accompanied by, or leads to, lustful thoughts or consumption of pornography (Matthew 5:28), or if it becomes an addictive habit that replaces intimacy with God or others. The Christian is called to pursue holiness in mind and body and to glorify God in all things (1 Corinthians 10:31).  

A Christian should view video games and screen time with discernment, as they are morally neutral but prone to excess. The spiritual danger is poor stewardship of time, as believers are commanded to be wise and make the most of every opportunity (Ephesians 5:15–16). They must also avoid mastery by anything (1 Corinthians 6:12) and ensure all content is pure and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). The key is balance and intentional boundaries.

Can Christians drink alcohol? Yes, but Scripture strictly forbids drunkenness.
