A Prayer for sleep
Dear Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to a close, I come before you seeking rest for my tired body and mind. Please grant me the peace that is beyond all understanding as I prepare to sleep.
Thank you for the gift of sleep—a time for my body to be refreshed and renewed. I surrender all my worries and anxieties to you now, trusting that you will watch over me through the night.
Please guide my dreams with your wisdom and light, and protect me from any harm or troubled thoughts. May I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to embrace the new day you have graciously given me.
Bless those who are also trying to rest tonight, and comfort anyone who is struggling with sleeplessness or worries. Surround them with your presence and grant them the peace they need.
Thank you, Father, for your constant care and provision. May your love be my comfort as I drift off to sleep, and may I wake up tomorrow with gratitude in my heart for another day of life.
