A Prayer for comfort
Dear Heavenly Father,
in this moment of sorrow and distress, I come seeking your peace. Please wrap me in your arms of love and soothe the ache I feel inside my heart.
Give me the strength to keep going through this pain, and the courage to face each new day with a little bit of hope. Help me find comfort in the promises of your Bible and to trust your perfect plan, even when I feel completely lost.
I also ask you to comfort others who are grieving, those who are sick, suffering, or who feel totally alone. Let them feel your gentle touch and find peace right in the middle of their hardest times.
And please guide me to be a source of comfort for the people around me. Teach me how to offer a listening ear, a helping hand, and truly encouraging words. Help me share your love and compassion with everyone who needs it.
Thank you, Father, for your unfailing love and for being my comfort when I'm in trouble. May your presence be my safe place and my strength, today and always.
