A Prayer for forgiveness
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you with a humble heart, acknowledging all my mistakes and shortcomings.
I ask for your forgiveness for the times I have fallen short—for the words I said in anger, the actions I took too quickly, and the times I have strayed from your path.
I am truly sorry for any pain I have caused others, and for the times I failed to show love and compassion. Please forgive my selfishness and pride. Help me be more aware of the needs and feelings of those around me.
Grant me the strength to seek reconciliation where it's needed and to make things right for any harm I've done. Guide me in the ways of forgiveness and grace, and help me offer the same mercy to others that you have shown to me.
Thank you for your boundless love and forgiveness, and for the promise of redemption through your Son, Jesus Christ. May I always try to walk in your ways and live a life that is pleasing to you.
