The Christian response to systemic injustice and police brutality is rooted in the biblical mandate to seek justice (Micah 6:8) and affirm the image of God in every person (Genesis 1:27). This response requires both prophetic critique of oppressive systems and compassionate engagement to work for righteousness, peace, and reconciliation within the existing governing structures (Romans 13:4).  

The Bible affirms the core principles of diversity, justice, and welcoming all people (Galatians 3:28; Micah 6:8). Therefore, Christians should champion initiatives that truly uphold the dignity of all people (Genesis 1:27). However, modern DEI programs must be carefully scrutinized to ensure they align with biblical truth and do not replace the Gospel's message of unity in Christ with an unbiblical framework of group identity, grievance, or enforced outcomes.  

The Bible's core message on justice is found in the concepts of mishpat (justice) and tsedeq (righteousness). God commands believers to actively pursue fairness and defend the rights of the vulnerable—the poor, the widow, and the orphan (Proverbs 31:8-9). This is an essential part of faith, as demonstrated by Jesus (Matthew 25:40), who demands that we let "justice roll on like a river" (Amos 5:24).
