A Prayer for healing
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you right now because I need healing—for my body and for my heart. You are the great Healer, and I know that you have the power to make me whole again and give me new strength.
Please give me the strength to get through this pain and the patience to wait for the healing I need. Help me to trust your timing completely, believing that you are working everything out for my best, even when I can't see it.
Pour your healing grace over me, Lord. Please bring restoration to every part of who I am. Heal my body from all sickness and weakness, and gently mend the broken places in my heart and my soul.
I ask you to guide the hands of every doctor, nurse, and caregiver who is helping me. Give them the wisdom and skill they need. May their efforts be a way for your healing power to flow to me.
Thank you, Father, for the promise that you are near the brokenhearted and you care for our wounds. Let me rest in your loving presence, knowing that you are right here with me in this time of need.
