A Prayer to Stop Sinning
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you right now, and I ask for your help to stop sinning. I am truly sorry for the ways I have failed you, and I do not want to continue living this way.
I ask for your forgiveness for my past mistakes, and I pray for the power to change today.
Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. I need the Spirit's strength to resist temptation and to choose what is right, even when it is difficult. Help me to hate the sin and to love your perfect, holy will.
Show me the areas in my life where sin has taken root. Give me the courage to remove those influences, habits, and actions that lead me astray.
Help me to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, who defeated sin and death. I want to walk in the freedom He provides. I surrender my will to yours, believing that through Christ, I have the power to live a life that honors you.
