A Prayer Against Jealousy
Dear Heavenly Father,
I humbly come before you and confess that jealousy is rising in my heart. I am struggling to be happy for others, and I feel discontent with what I have.
Please forgive me for comparing myself to others and for focusing on what I lack instead of on Your many blessings. Cleanse my heart of envy and turn my eyes back to You.
Fill me with a spirit of true gratitude. Help me to see the unique gifts and purpose You have given me. Teach me to find deep contentment in the life You have provided.
I pray for the person or situation that is causing this jealousy. Help me to sincerely celebrate their success and to genuinely wish them well. Let my thoughts toward them be ones of love and support, not envy.
May your peace guard my heart and my mind. Help me to trust that Your timing and Your plan for my life are perfect.
