A Prayer to Be Humble
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you right now, and I ask you to create a humble heart within me.
Please help me to truly see myself as I am: someone completely dependent on your grace, not on my own strength or achievements. Forgive me for moments when my pride has gotten in the way—when I've wanted credit, looked down on others, or thought I knew better than You.
Give me the courage to admit when I'm wrong and the patience to listen to the wisdom of others. Teach me to value every person, no matter their position, and to always treat others with kindness and respect.
I surrender my need for control and recognition. May I always seek to lift up Your name, not my own. Help me understand that true power comes from humility and trusting You.
Thank you, Father, for the gift of grace that covers all my mistakes. Help me to walk humbly with you every day.
