OCTOBER
October: Finding Peace in Your Spiritual Growth
Take a deeper breath this month and encounter God's presence. October is dedicated to Finding Peace in Your Spiritual Growth—the practical disciplines that sustain faith.
We'll train our ears to hear The Still, Small Voice in prayer, learn to thrive by Feasting on the Word in Bible study, and embrace the comforting Gift of the Holy Spirit.
Finally, we learn to stand firm as we explore Spiritual Warfare.

Never alone! Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Christ's promised Presence is the ultimate guarantee of courage and peace for the Call to Mission.
The core message! Christ died for our sins... He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. Embrace this simple certainty for your Call to Mission.
Your essential response! Repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations. Embrace this transformative change for ultimate peace.
Your divine power! You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses... to the ends of the earth. Embrace supernatural enablement for the Call to Mission.
Freedom's purpose! Serve one another humbly in love. Use your freedom for liberated humility and let service through love be your mission's clearest witness.
Reward for the simple! If anyone gives even a cup of cold water... that person will certainly not lose their reward. Embrace the power of simple service done in sincere love.
Kingdom greatness! Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant. Follow Christ, who did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom.
Count the cost! Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me. Embrace costly discipleship through resolute obedience.
Your daily petition! The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest for more laborers. Let the urgency of the harvest fuel your intercession.
The ultimate drive! Christ’s love compels us... that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him. Let grateful devotion be the singular motive for your mission.
The starting line! The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Embrace reverent awe for God to gain the understanding necessary for righteous living.
Just ask! If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously... and it will be given to you. Rely on the generous giver with confident asking.
Wisdom is a person! Christ Jesus... became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Christ is your ultimate identity and all-in-one spiritual package.
Choose your foundation! The wise man builds on the rock by putting into practice Christ's Word. The foolish man builds on sand. Choose stable foundation.
Know the source! Such “wisdom” is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. Where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder. Seek clear discernment from God.
Heavenly character! The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive... Embrace visible virtue and become a peacemaker.
